Transformers Prime Alexis concept

This got stuck in my head after my last fan art. I obviously need to go to bed but I thought I'd quickly sketch it.
I enjoyed Alexis Thi Dang from Transformers Armada and I absolutely loved the potential/hinted love between her and Starscream. I mean come on, G1 had at least one humanxtransformer romance. Granted I think Astoria was kind of the catalyst for the current day mary sue.

Still I'm surprised there aren't many adaptations of Alexis starscream in the transformers prime fanfiction/fan art community.

Back-story/how she could fit into Transformers Prime:


Alexis Thi Dang is a jet fighter pilot for the Nellis Air force base of Nevada. She's 31 years old and can seem quite serious with first impressions. Her seasoned veteran attitude, however, can quickly be dissolved as she likes to add her slightly off kilter humor to adverse situations whenever she can.

She was in the military attack against Megatron and Starscream at New Kaon, the episode of Dark Mount. (Even though there were primarily helicopters shown in that scene I saw fighter jets in the first few seconds.)
Unfortunately that's how she lost her legs below/right above the knee. The implosion blast of the fusion cannon caused the injury from a tank landing on the front end of her jet, her legs pinned and traumatically crushed underneath. In the process of getting her out of the cockpit there was barely enough of her lower limbs to salvage and they had to amputate to get her completely out. She has pretty bad PTSD and neuronal sensitivity in the bundles at the amputation sites, which further restrict her eligibility to re-enlist.

I would really love this character and her story line to somehow fit in someone else's fanfiction. Honestly I would love her to cameo in CzarnaArcher's story line. I feel Alexis would make a fun supporting female role to her depiction of June and June/Megatron ' s relationship. Which would help their relationship because Starscream would be distracted with more meaningful fulfillment of a relationship instead of his relentless, failed quest for power.

If she were in that fanfiction this is how I see her coming in to the picture:
In the following story line of CzarnaArcher's fanfictions: "Beauty of the Beast" to a little bit before "Run" she was in rehabilitation (she still has the diagnosis of PTSD even though she is responding well to trigger situations. Despite these setbacks, she is holding the army base, Fowler especially, by the short and curlies to re-enlist her as an active fighter pilot.

Part of the grieving process for her new life is to stay the charming but persistent and in your face domestic airforce pilot she was before. This is reflected as she starts to get to know June initially in passing after June's appointment with the female doctor who works for area one in "Run." (No spoilers I promise). They could share an elevator ride in which Alexis just starts crying frantically. (This is the third time she's gone to the facility to try and schedule a full physical/psych check to help with re-enlisting.)

She gets to know June, the kids and the autobots more while frequently bothering Fowler to try and break through the beaurocratic process. As they hang out off base she learns about June and Megatron's relationship.

Later on she demands to meet Megatron and his "crew" in person. Honoring what she's been through, Megatron not only meets her but has himself and all his primary officers use the size shifter so they can speak with her face - face level. This would be the first time (for the story that is) that Starscream has used the size shifter which he is not happy with at all. Complaining before hand and looking as irked, irritated and dejected as he could possibly appear when they meet.

Oh course he and several others (including June and Fowler look bemused/startled (Megatron looks slightly amused at her gaul) when Alexis stomps in bearing an extra one of her prosthetic legs and hurls it at them. Starscream can help but yelp (in that Steve Blum iconic yelp - scream that he does so well in the show). Her limb proceeds to slide across the floor and bump Raoul's foot. With both hands on her hips she growls at them: "You a** holes owe me a new pair of legs!"

June and Fowler stare in astonishment until June steps in to get her back in to acting like the mature pilot she's always acting like around Fowler. Alexis gives her an amused smile despite tears that are threatening to burst from her eyes. Sniffing quickly to control herself she replies: "You're right June, sorry, that was (6 months? I forgot the length of time between stories) of repressed anger, grief and pain I kept lodged in me while I tried to walk again without collapsing in pain. Hey you... Um to the left back..." Raoul points to himself. "Yeah, um could you hand me my leg back? I sorta need it in case this one breaks or I have re-adjust it." He hands her leg back. "Oh and that was not directed at you. Just... okay you as a whole, um, okay this is an awkward way to get to know new allies." She turns to Fowler.
"They're allies now right?" Fowler: "Um well we have a truce right now..."
...........

June, since she's a Nurse had a strong sense of understanding what is important to people. As a therapist I've looked to a lot on nurses and CNAS to get an understanding of patients before I see them as they see them during the day more than I do. She can't change Alexis ' s diagnosis but maybe she can find something to bring her out of her funk. That's when she imposes on Starscream and other flyers to take her on flights with them. Alexis then requests Starscream solely. Which surprises everyone, especially starscream. Up until that point their interactions boiled down to screaming matches, vandalism (--mainly Alexis ruining Starscream ' s finish, putting inappropriate notes where he couldn't reach) and fist fights.

Soundwave and Knockout co-conspired to make Starscream 's size shifter activate by remote control as a means of punking the arrogant military lieutenant. They started punking him even more once Alexis began to frequent the nemesis ship via ground bridge.

She could get this privilege by getting on knockout's good side: bribing him with wax, doing clinical work for him that he felt was unnecessarily messy to his paint job.
This also was justified by June and Knockout as her bring around a bunch of decepticons was helping her with reducing flashbacks of her PTSD--there could be a previous situation when she was with the autobots that caused her to have a traumatic flash back.

Without warning starscream can be forced to shrink down to her size if it looked like their argument/situation wasn't getting better. Which often lead to bruised (human) and dented (transformer) fights.

He stares at her in confusion after she says she only wants to fly with him. She quickly responds that the other flyers don't look like jets, if she's gonna fly again she wants the feel of a real cockpit and she's flown Starscream ' s alt mode before.

Hence the start of a rocky but eventually cute and sweet relationship!

What do you think? Hopefully she doesn't seem sue - ish. I don't want to pretend for a moment that I understand what it's like to have double limb amputations or what it's like to serve in the military. I tried to look up a bunch of stuff. Still, I like the idea that veterans are people and most of all they're trying to stay that way. War is not something to be glorified nor do I want to downplay the gnarled road to recovery most of our veterans continue to trek.

This concept got stuck in my head and I had to write it down since I don't know when I'll have time to write this as an actual fanfiction.
